Steve Wiles | Managing Director

Steve is the Managing Director and owner of Cobia. Steve has specialised in Employment Consultancy for 16 years particularly in the areas of employment management, outsourced processing and benefits planning. Having begun his career in the City of London recruitment industry, Steve has been responsible for creating and managing successful businesses with turnover in excess of £100 Million per annum and brings these experiences to Cobia's clients and business partners.

Anthony Bennett | Group Tax Director

Anthony is the Group Tax Director with overall responsibility for the delivery of Employment Tax services provided by our business. Anthony has specialised in the Employment Tax arena for 19 years and before joining Cobia held the position of Employment Taxes Director at Deloitte LLP having previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and serving as an Inspector of Taxes with HM Revenue & Customs. Anthony specialises in all areas of Employment Taxation providing clients with unrivalled technical experience and advice.

James Doyle | Commercial Director

James is the Commercial Director responsible for client services and bringing new opportunities to market. Instrumental in the formation of Cobia and the concept of managed solutions, his background as a Director at a number of blue chip companies enables him to provide practical, experienced advice from the client's perspective as well as the technical requirements of successful management of new arrangements.

Chris Day | Financial Director

Chris is the Financial Director with over twenty years' experience leading various finance functions within the financial services and other sectors. In recent years, Chris has specialised in creating, developing and enhancing financial systems for high growth businesses and brings these experiences to many of Cobia's clients.

Becky Turner | Operations Director

Becky is the Operations Director with overall responsibility for the day to day delivery of client services. Becky has worked within HR and the Employment Taxes arena for over 10 years specialising in particular the provision of employee benefits through salary sacrifice arrangements, dealing with HM Revenue & Customs reviews and managing the day-to-day challenges of HR processes and administration, PAYE, NIC, expense and benefit compliance.
